USB is facing a crisis of accessibility and physical presence on its campus. Many students, staff, and faculty struggle to get to the two campuses due to fuel shortages, lack of own vehicles, and intermittent university transportation.
To address this issue, AlumnUSB has arranged a transportation service through a reputable third-party company based in Venezuela. The cost for a one-way trip ranges from $3 to $6 USD per person, depending on the location. The goal is to expand the routes and create a sustainable service in the long term. At the moment, user contributions are around $0.75 USD and AlumnUSB finances the rest, but the plan is for the contributions to become increasingly significant over time.

The lack of transportation to USB campuses has caused a decrease in attendance at classes and other university activities, negatively influencing the quality of education and student engagement.
Your monthly donations to this program help maintain and expand transportation routes to USB or facilitate alternative options in collaboration with the USB Services Directorate such as the upkeep of our own transportation units.
